Outerwear packaging is gusseted, hanger-holed packaging made for outerwear items. There is a hole for the hanger to pass through; the garment is packed while it stays on the hanger.
How it differs from underwear packaging
The two products are made for different forms of presentation. Outerwear packaging is gusseted and hanger-holed; the garment hangs. Underwear packaging is clear and is used for retail presentation on the shelf or inside a box. Two material variants
The product can be made from PE or from OPP/CPP film, and these are two separate variants. In the PE variant the film is produced in our own facilities by blown extrusion. OPP and CPP film we source from our approved suppliers; these polypropylene-based films are not produced in our own facilities. Flexographic printing is applied in our own facilities and goes up to eight colours; the product is also made unprinted.
If you ship into the EU this distinction is decisive: our declaration of material composition covers mono-material polyethylene products, that is, the PE variant only. The OPP/CPP variant falls outside that declaration. You can find which documents you may request on our PPWR compliance page.
Variants
A side or bottom gusset can be given. The surface can be gloss, matt or clear. The film gauge is chosen to suit the job; printing goes up to eight colours and the product is also made unprinted. Where recycled content is required, recycled polyethylene can be used at the requested share.
Our use of recycled content is independently verified under GRS 4.0 and RCS 2.0 scope certificates; if you need documentation at shipment level, we need to discuss that at order stage.

The size of the garment being packed, how your rail is arranged, your material variant preference, your printing requirement and your estimated annual volume. With that we work out the dimensions, gauge and print plan together.
