In short
Apart from the cookies the site needs to work, no cookie is placed without your permission. If you do not allow it, no request is sent to Google Analytics, Google Ads or Google Maps at all — those tools are never loaded into your browser. Unlike common practice, we do not load them and then disable them; we do not start them until permission is given.

How to change your preference
Use the Cookie preferences link at the bottom of any page to change or fully withdraw your choice at any time. Withdrawing is as easy as giving.
Your preference is stored in your browser for 365 days and then asked again. If this text changes materially your preference lapses and you are asked again as well. Clearing your browser's site data also resets it.
What we record when you choose
When we record your choice we do not store your IP address or browser information. What is recorded is only this: a random number generated in your browser that has no connection to your identity, your choice, the date, and the version of this text.
That number exists to link the consent history of the same browser together — so that a permission given and later withdrawn can be seen as belonging to the same person. It does not identify you and is not matched against any other data.
The map
The map on our contact page loads from Google Maps. If you do not allow it, the map is replaced by our address and a plain link to Google Maps — the address is never hidden.
