The Ecopure bag is produced by adding an additive we source to conventional polyethylene. The additive does not replace the plastic; it goes into the formulation. The film is produced by extrusion in our own facilities, printing is applied flexographically and the bag is formed by cutting and sealing.
The product is a carrier and shipment bag. It is used wherever an ordinary polyethylene bag is used — from retail presentation to store checkout, from shipment to promotional handouts.
Why there is no degradation claim on this page
This product is named after an additive technology, and the claims about that technology’s performance belong to the additive’s licence holder, not to us. Because the licence is not held by DEKA, we do not publish a rate, a duration or a standard name for degradation here.
We write this as a boundary rather than a gap; knowing up front what we can and cannot state makes your job easier. In a buyer’s audit the question is who stands behind the claim; putting a claim on the page that we cannot document would put both you and us in a difficult position. Variants
Printing is flexographic and goes up to eight colours; the bag is also produced unprinted. A side or bottom gusset can be given. Where retail shelf or peg display is needed, a hang hole is added. If the bag is used as a carrier, a handle or die-cut handle can be applied.
